CLEARCURE GOO

The Cure To Epoxy™

Welcome to the Clear Cure Goo.

We will be out on a well deserved fishing trip from Feb 5th - 10th If you have placed an order expect it to ship out on the 11th of Feb. Thank you all for your support from the shows the response to the Clear Cure Goo has been tremendous and we have enjoyed all the positive feedback that we have received. Every order is important to us and we value feedback from our customers and use it to further develop new products.
If you have ever used Epoxy for your fly tying, you either overcame the problems associated in its use or just gave up on any fresh or saltwater patterns that required it. And if you currently use epoxy, you know of the issues with it…it gets soft over time and most of the cheaper 5min epoxies turn dark after just a few months rendering them dark amber at best. I used epoxy for lots of my personal tying and on the flies I have made and sold to the local fly shops. I came to hate the stuff..inconsistent head shapes when it cured, inconstant cure time and the issue of just mixing and application of it. So me and a few friends have come up with a pretty good substitute for Epoxy….without any of the epoxy issues!

Clear Coat Goo doesn't have any of the issues associated with epoxy. There is no yellowing of your flies... No longer will you have to throw your flies that you spent so long creating out because they have yellowed severely. No longer will you have to worry that you didnt get your epoxy mixture just right, or you will have a tacky fly for weeks.

Please note for proper curing you must useour light. Clear Cure Goo only reacts to a specific spectrum. We can tell you that a Loon light and a Tufffleye light operate on a different spectrum than ours. In fact in our tests the Loon light and the Tuffleye light will only put a light "skin" on the Clear Cure Goo.

Saltwater Applications Would Include:

Almost any Baitfish Pattern, Surf Candies, Crab Patterns, Charlies, Apte Style Tarpon Flies, Spoon Flies, Shrimp Patterns and Grand Slam Minnows.

Freshwater Applications Would Include:

Many Nymph, Pupa, Midge and Scud patterns like the Copper John and Chironomids. If your fly requires a translucent back Clear Cure Goo can provide.

Tube and Reinforcement Applications:

If you use tube flies the Clear Cure Goo is a perfect product to build up heads on your tubes, be it plastic, aluminum or brass. You can forget head cement. Clear Cure Goo when put on very thin is much more effective and produces a very durable coating to cover all your thread wraps.

Clear Cure Goo is a GREAT VALUE... Think about how much Saltwater Flies cost at a fly shop.... 5 dollars to 7 dollars. You can make at least 30 2/0 Surf Candies with one syringe. 30 flies x 5 dollars equals $150. As you can see the savings in time in using a product that cures hard in 3-5 seconds add that to the savings you get by tying your own flies you can see how valuable Clear Cure Goo can be. Once you purchase the kit, you will only be buying syringes. The light uses 3AAA batteries and will last you well over 150 flies before you notice any lag time in the curing process.

We think once you have had the opportunity to use Clear Cure Goo for all your fly tying needs you will never go back to epoxy. If you have any questions or have a Clear Cure Goo Fly to submit please feel free to email us. You can also place orders for Syringes, Lights and Complete Kits.
